Butterfly pavilion approved as Buena Park’s next big attraction, replacing Movieland Wax Museum

The latest step in Buena Park’s plan to clean up the Beach Blvd. corridor. When do we get a streetcar between Knott’s, Disneyland, and the Pond?

The venue, being modeled after the Butterfly Wonderland park in Scottsdale, Ariz., would feature the sanctuary for butterflies, hummingbirds and other wildlife, an aquarium with jellyfish, a 3D movie theater, a cafe and a retail shop.
